At least 38 people were killed and 13 others injured in a collision between a bus and a freight truck in Brazil,
Reuters reported. The accident occurred on Saturday on the BR-116 federal highway in Minas Gerais state.
Authorities said the bus was traveling from the city of Sao Paulo to the northeastern state of Bahia with 45 passengers. Suddenly, a tire on the bus burst, causing the driver to lose control and hit a freight truck. The bus caught fire, killing them on the spot.
